Some say the best thing about Australia is the laid back and welcoming atmosphere of an Australian pub. An old fashioned way to meet & catch up over a cold beer. Friendly conversation, warm meals and an open fire- that's what we at the Koolunga Hotel provide for our patrons.

We are located in the small mid-north South Australian town of Koolunga. Located on the Broughton River, Koolunga has long been home to a mythical bunyip that has been spotted in the past on the banks of the river. There are walking trails and parks along the river bank and the bunyip has not yet scared the trout away.

We offer hearty country meals on Friday & Saturday night. With advance notice for group bookings we can arrange weekday meals to suit your needs. We also do take-aways.

Even if you are just passing through we sell a range of convenience items including milk, flavoured milks, juices, chocolates and cigarettes.
